Principal

Principal Thompson has been working in education for the past 20 years.  She began her career in Superior, WI teaching science at both the 6th and 8th grade levels before moving down to teach 5th grade.  In 2019 Mrs. Thompson moved into administration as an assistant principal at Superior Middle School.  

Mrs. Thompson went into education to make a difference in the lives of the students in our community.  She believes every child can grow and learn when they feel loved and supported.  She is passionate about building positive connections with students, staff, and families.  Mrs. Thompson recognizes each child brings unique experiences into our school and strengthens our community.  She is dedicated to supporting, loving, and believing in all of our students at Laura MacArthur!

Mrs. Thompson lives in Superior, WI with her husband and daughter.  She has two adult sons and two dogs.  She enjoys spending time with family, playing games, and spending time outdoors.
